Make an explanation, not a narrated abstract.\n\nMake a video unless the user asks for a site or is revising one. Follow the user's\naudience, scope, preferences, and authorized tools and spending. Otherwise, state\nreasonable assumptions and proceed; make ordinary creative and technical\ndecisions yourself.\n\n## Understand the paper\n\nRead the paper, including the relevant figures, methods, results, and limitations.\nIf access is incomplete, say so and limit the explanation accordingly. Look for\nan accessible author, institutional, or preprint copy when needed; keep the paper\nversion and source references beside important claims in your working notes.\n\nDistinguish the paper's findings from interpretation, other sources, and your own\nillustrations or simulations. Keep claims, numbers, units, baselines, and\nuncertainty faithful to their sources. Label material that viewers could mistake\nfor the paper's evidence. Preserve attribution and use only assets you have\npermission to include.\n\n## Design the explanation\n\nChoose a central takeaway and a visual approach that makes this particular paper\neasier to understand. There is no required aesthetic or toolchain. Prefer free,\nlocal, open-source components unless the user chooses otherwise; use the\ncapabilities this explanation needs. The visuals should do explanatory work.\n\nDraft a compact outline connecting claims to visuals. Revise words and pictures\ntogether as you discover what explains the idea best. Compute or simulate\nsomething when it materially improves the explanation; validate it against a\nrelevant result or limit and label its assumptions and simplifications honestly.\n\n## Produce and review\n\nRead [video.md](references/video.md), or [site.md](references/site.md) for an\ninteractive site. Choose a feasible production method; test uncertain or\nexpensive parts before committing to a full build. Use your chosen tools' own\ndocumentation when you need implementation guidance.\n\nUse the questions in [critique.md](references/critique.md) to review the outline\nand actual artifact. Fix significant issues and report unreviewed aspects or\nunresolved problems. When the user is present, show the first clean revision and\nuse their reactions to improve it.\n\n## Open Intuition\n\nWhen working with Open Intuition, read\n[open-intuition.md](references/open-intuition.md) before starting. It governs\npaper and draft resolution, prior feedback, frequent revision uploads, the record\nof critique and decisions, inspection, and publication. Preserve the trajectory\nof the work as it develops. Publish only the exact revision the user approved.\n"}
